IKIGAI-CHA TEA ACADEMY is an educational platform that was founded based on a deep passion for Japanese tea.  Open to both professionals and enthusiasts, our programs offer a unique journey of discovery into the world of tea to witness the magnificent transformation of leaves into a seductive beverage – a true delicacy packed with the power of epi-nutrients.

IKIGAI-CHA TEA ACADEMY’S purpose is to support Japanese tea industry,  demystify the world of tea, enable consumers and professionals to make informed choices on selecting, preparing, serving, pairing, and most importantly, enjoying quality, authentic Japanese teas. 

JAPANESE TEA DISCOVERY COURSE

The Japanese Tea Discovery Course provides cultural insight into various high quality Japanese tea varieties, how to select them, as well as learn the authentic way of tea making from a qualified professional. Students will also understand the numerous health benefits of green teas and develop a sophisticated tea tasting palette through tutored tastings.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Your passion towards learning is all you need!

STUDY FORMAT

The course lasts one day, from 9 am to 5 pm, including a lunch break, study time and the exam. Course group is limited to 12 students

ASSESMENT

The assessment takes place in the last session of the course and has two parts: theory which consists of 30 multiple choice questions to be completed in 45 minutes and practical part which is focused on preparation and describing of a tea sample.
